Sources we rely on
- The Highway Code (current edition, including the January 2022 changes), published by the Department for Transport on GOV.UK.
- GOV.UK and DVSA guidance on the theory test, hazard perception test and practical driving test.
- Know Your Traffic Signs (Department for Transport) for road signs and markings.
Where a guide explains a rule, we cite the Highway Code rule number and link to it, so you can read the original wording.
Practice questions
Official DVSA revision questions and hazard perception clips are Crown copyright and can only be used under a licence from the DVSA. We never copy or reword questions from other websites, books or apps. Practice questions on this site are either written by our own team or used under licence, and each practice set says which.
Reviews and updates
Every guide shows the date it was last reviewed. We re-check guides when the DVSA, DVLA or Department for Transport announces a change to the tests, fees or the Highway Code, and at least once a year otherwise.

If you think something on this site is wrong or out of date, please email [email protected] with the page address. We’ll check it against the official source and correct it promptly.
